Artist's Statement:
From gaps in the clouds, countless angelic ladders descend, vividly connecting sky and sea.
Coral skeletons washed ashore at the boundary between sea and land, their pitiful undersides dull and prickly, seem to reject anything coming from outside.
I wanted to capture in paint the colors illuminated by strong rays of light, the plants and insects I encountered, and the fresh experiences of Okinawa.
